• Director (Business Operations)

    Jacob has worked for DCR for over twenty (20) years in personnel, administration and property management. Prior to joining DCR, he worked part-time in retail and associated work environments for several years whilst studying at university.

    He is DCR’s Director (Business Operations) and has responsibility for the overall management of DCR’s corporate functioning. He is also responsible for information technology and asset management. Jacob is also involved in the development of DCR’s new business initiatives including Web-based marketing and promotion. In 2016, he coproduced the internationally critically acclaimed feature film, The Suicide Theory. Jacob holds a Bachelor of Business Studies (Management) from Monash University and is an Associate Fellow of the Australian Institute of Management. Jacob sits on the Joint Board of the DCR partner companies and is Managing Director of his own film production company, Odin Productions Pty Ltd.

  • Executive Manager (Care Policy and Practice)

    As DCR’s Executive Manager (Care Policy and Practice), Sue is responsible for the overseeing the coaching, support, and learning strategies for DCR Care Operations staff to ensure that DCR care practices are clearly aligned with legislative and government agency policy and practice requirements. Sue participates in, and often leads, the development of new care-orientated projects and initiatives to diversify and enhance DCR’s business opportunities and market reach. In addition, utilising appropriate sampling methodologies,

    Sue provides strategic feedback and direction to the Care Management Group to ensure appropriate focus on client care, accuracy, and relevance as well as identifying issues and reporting trends for improvement across the client cohort.

  • Director (Care Operations)

    The Director (Care Operations) is responsible for strategic leadership and overseeing the care and business-related operations. As the Director, Julie provides high-quality, professional clinical and care management and strategic management advice and support to the DCR Principals and the Executive Manager (Care Policy and Practice). Additionally, the Director develops, manages, and promotes DCRs care programs in line with legislative and related policy requirements, accepted care practice, and DCRs Operational and Strategic Plan. Julie has worked with DCR since 2018, joining the team as a manager and then as Senior Manager (Child Protection and Quality Assurance).

    Prior to joining DCR Julie held various roles with the Department of Children, Youth Justice, and Multicultural Affairs and has extensive knowledge and understanding of the child protection system. This prior industry experience together withher experience at DCR has allowed Julie to be recognised as a highly reliable leader who can develop and implement NDIS and child protection practices including legislative, policy, practical, and governance perspectives.

  • Manager (Workforce Management)

    Prior to moving into Workforce Management, Laura supported the organisation’s Supported Independent Living team.

    Laura has a background in legal business development and technical bid writing focused on project finance, capital markets and mergers & acquisitions. She has worked in Finland, Sweden, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates. Laura has experience in public-private partnerships with the Queensland Department of Transport and Main Roads on Cross River Rail and consortium infrastructure bids such as Canberra Light Rail.

  • Principal Clinician (Behaviour Support)

    Donna provides high-quality, professional clinical and care management advice and assistance to the Executive Manager and Director (Care Operations) in relation to NDIS and Behaviour Support policies and procedures to ensure that they are clearly aligned with legislative and Government agency requirements.

    Donna provides management, supervision, and professional advice to Managers (Clinical Care) and Business Support Coordinators, and assists with coordination, planning, and implementation of care for disability and child safety clients assigned to DCR.

    Donna has previous experience as a Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner at Australian National Lifestyle Assist. In this role she successfully facilitated the implementation of evidence-based interventions, represented clients both children and adults with disabilities, and has extensive knowledge producing and training in Positive Behaviour Support Plans.
