    For more than six (6) years from 1992 to 1998, Dr Waynne Videroni RFD held the position of Executive Director with the Queensland Council of Carers where he reorganised the organisation into a multimillion-dollar, proactive, community small business. In addition to his executive management responsibilities, he was instrumental in restructuring of a number of disability and aged care service organisations, by developing and implementing a range of organisational improvement strategies to ensure their compliance with legal and financial requirements, and enhanced operating efficiency and effectiveness.

    Prior to his appointment to the Queensland Council of Carers, Waynne held various senior clinical and senior managerial positions in the Queensland Department of Health from 1974 to 1992. His responsibilities ranged from providing direct clinical care to patients to the establishment, implementation and evaluation of corporate clinical management policy, procedures and standards. He was personally responsible for the planning, implementation and management of major corporate initiatives and projects including the Queensland School Dental Service; the Mobile Dental Clinic Project; the Dental Resource Centre and the Dental Purchasing and Storage facility. He has also held senior appointments with the Australian Defence Forces including staff, command, Dental Consultant, Principal Dental Consultant and Honorary Dental Surgeon to His Excellency the Governor-General of Australia.

    For more than eight (8) years from 1986 to 1994, Aaron McCarty held Senior Executive Service appointments as Assistant Under Secretary (Administrative and Support Services) and Director (Human Resource Management) (SES2) with the Queensland Department of Health. Previously, he was a Specialist Consultant in human resource management and organisational change with the former Queensland Public Service Board for more than nine (9) years.

    In addition to his executive management responsibilities whilst he was with Queensland Health, he also undertook, by direct Ministerial appointment as Project Director, a number of major Government reform assignments including the Review of Organisational Arrangements for Public Hospitals (1990) which led to regionalisation of Queensland public sector health services.

    Commencing his own private practice as an Organisational Consultant in 1994, Aaron undertook a wide range of major assignments. Examples include the Local Evaluation of the TEAM Care Health Coordinated Care Trial in the Brisbane North Health District; Development of the Change Management Master Planning Strategy for QPACS for the Princess Alexandra, Royal Brisbane, Royal Women’s and Royal Children’s Hospitals; Redesign of Organisation Structure and Management Practices for the Greater Murray Health Service in New South Wales; and Evaluation of the Organisational Structure of the Parliamentary Services Commission (Queensland Legislative Assembly).

    Aaron co-founded DCR with Dr. Waynne Videroni in 1998 and is a Principal of DCR and Managing Director, Corporate Development Services (Australia) Pty Ltd. He holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in politics and history and a Master of Public Administration Degree from the University of Queensland. He is also a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Management. Aaron was a Lecturer in the Master of Business Administration Program at the Queensland University of Technology from 1996 1999.

    David has led, grown and successfully managed many large scale, complex businesses throughout Australia and North America. His area of expertise lies in building robust relationships within highly regulated industries and he uses that to positively contribute to successful outcomes for both client and provider organisations.

    Graduating from the Queensland University of Technology with a Bachelor of Engineering (Honours), David quickly transitioned into Project and Business Management. Having worked for Transfield for almost 18 years, Laing O’Rourke, and Downer Engineering, David led large scale businesses of up to $800m in turnover per annum with up to 7,000 employees. He was responsible for all aspects of the operations including Strategic Direction, Profit and Loss, People & Culture, Continuous Improvement, and Commercial & Risk

    As Principal of Direct Care Resources, he now uses that foundational experience to pro-actively create business opportunities, lead organisational change and drive continuous improvement opportunities within the business.
