The wellbeing of our clients as well as their carers is an important element of our care model. That is why we offer Planned Respite services to carers of our clients.
Our Planned Respite recognises that the task of caring for adults with a disability or looking after children and young people in care of the State is a demanding role. We offer regular ‘time out’ services where carers and foster carers are able to take a break with the support and assistance of our care staff.
Our care staff are available to transport clients from their residence to our respite facilities in Toowoomba, Ipswich, Brisbane, the Gold Coast or Bribie Island and to provide care and support in a safe, comfortable environment. Upon conclusion of the agreed respite period, our care staff will transport clients back to their place of permanent residence.
We provide Planned Respite at regular intervals determined between ourselves, the primary carers and the government funding agency.
